As a successful business professional, what can I do in order to get younger more talented entrepreneurs?

to stay off my turf?
I try to tread on as many fingers as I can as they try to join the corporate ladder but even despite the economic climate, they keep getting a foot in the door and threaten to do what I do only better and cheaper with more scruples and offering "employee benefits".

What can I do to assure the door is well and truly locked behind me, and the glass ceiling is properly in place for women (to clean).

Your sense of ethics suggests you’re a Republican strategist, in which case it’s EASY, (look at how many fat old deranged Republicans there are)

As Republicans the women already know their place, so you can bet you won’t get any flack from them.

As for the guys, you just accuse them of being gay, loudly and openly, until everyone believes it.

Last I checked you were young too. You might go to the older guys in your industry and ask THEM how they deal with it.

Or you can fall back on the "old principles" of doing a better job than the whippersnappers. KNOW your capabilities and show your clients why they want YOUR EXPERTISE rather than that of some "kid" or "child".

It’s all in how you carry yourself. Dress well, have a good portfolio, and speak clearly and definitively. Show your clients what YOU can do for THEM! Tell them WHY you have the best product for them and how they need YOUR expertise in the matter and not some young grad school kid who is still wet behind the ears. Make them WANT YOUR skills, not someone elses.

It’s all about being SECURE in the fact that YOU are the BEST at your job and that YOU offer them the TOTAL SOLUTION to their problem.

BE ALL YOU CAN BE and then if the youngsters are STILL beating you perhaps it is time to find another line of work.

You’ll never sell your first client. You need to whittle your sales pitch until it is flawless. You need to be able to tell what people want and then you need to be able to supply it. It might take a little bit of ESP to get into your client’s mind and figure out what he REALLY wants and then it will be up to YOU to supply him with what he TRULY DESIRES.

You CAN do it … you just have to figure out HOW you are going to do it!

Friend them on Facebook, where young idiots willingly post incriminating photos & information that you can use against them at your convenience.
