Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a project initiated by the European Union (EU). It aims at helping new entrepreneurs to acquire relevant skills for managing a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) by spending time in a business in another EU country. It contributes to improving their know-how and fosters cross-border transfers of knowledge and experience between entrepreneurs.
Who can participate?
•New entrepreneurs are entrepreneurs who are firmly planning to set up their own business or have already started their own business within the last three years.
•Experienced entrepreneurs should own or manage an SME in the EU.

Biotechnology YES is an annual competition led by BBSRC, now in its 13th year, that aims to help the UK’s early career bioscientists gain the skills and contacts needed to turn research into commercial reality. Year on year the competition grows in popularity.
