How to be a successful entrepreneur?

Posted by admin on February 7th, 2010 and filed under successful entrepreneur | 3 Comments »

I am still a student. Due to financial needs. Recently, I had an idea of starting out a business of my own by making handmade greeting cards. How can I start promoting my product? Marketing it into the market? Any ideas how to start everything up?
Your help will be much appreciated. =)

well, you can put some posters up, and buy a stand or rent a shop. spread the word orally. start with small prices for the cards and set up a website its only about 9 bucks a year.

All you need to do is advertise your cards. I would advise using every free resource you can find.

One great free site is http://craftersbuzz.com which allows free ads for artists and crafters. You can create a gallery of all of your cards and have a web presence for free.

You can use free sites like myspace and facebook to find buyers and then show them your gallery of work. You can collect via paypal so you don’t have to spend any money on websites, merchant fees or advertising.

You won’t make big money on handmade cards but you can make some lunch money.

If you are a good artist you might consider doing work for businesses building logos and web design.

It says something on Entrepreneur Evaluation, the questions quite tricky but it is good for you to evaluate if you are suitable to be an entrepreneur.

    The questions is here:
