I am looking for books that cover silicon valley, startups, tech companies, enterepreneurs. Especially those about the personalities involved. People like Steve Jobs, Andy Grove (I already read Only the Paranoid…), etc. If you have a suggestion about a book about entrepreneurs outside of silicon valley, then please tell me that too. Thank you for your time!
Here is a paperback about the Internet entrepreneurs, people like Bob Davis of Lycos, Jerry Yang of Yahoo and others: http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0273649213/ref=sib_dp_pt/105-6392336-4195646#reader-link
Silicon Valley’s New Immigrant Entrepreneurs This book talks about immigrant entrepreneurs who are managing high-tech firms in Silicon Valley. http://www.amazon.com/Silicon-Valleys-New-Immigrant-Entrepreneurs/dp/1582130094
This book: Cloning Silicon Valley: The Next Generation High-Tech Hotspots (Hardcover) talks about The Next Generation High-Tech Hotspots: and has evaluations of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, government officials … http://www.amazon.com/Cloning-Silicon-Valley-Generation-High-Tech/dp/1903684064
I’m not sure about this one but you can check it out: The Silicon Boys: And Their Valleys Of Dreams, David A. Kaplan, Harper Perinneal (April 2000).
