to stay off my turf?
I try to tread on as many fingers as I can as they try to join the corporate ladder but even despite the economic climate, they keep getting a foot in the door and threaten to do what I do only better and cheaper with more scruples and offering "employee benefits".
What can I do to assure the door is well and truly locked behind me, and the glass ceiling is properly in place for women (to clean).
Your sense of ethics suggests you’re a Republican strategist, in which case it’s EASY, (look at how many fat old deranged Republicans there are)
As Republicans the women already know their place, so you can bet you won’t get any flack from them.
As for the guys, you just accuse them of being gay, loudly and openly, until everyone believes it.
Fortune Magazine chose ten emerging female entrepreneurs to join the annual Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit September 14-16, 2009.
The ten women joined 400 of the countrys most prominent women leaders in business, philanthropy, government, education and the arts for the series of panel discussions, on-stage interviews and interactive sessions over the course of three days in Aviara, California.
This new program targets entrepreneurial women who are game changers, ground-breakers and innovators in their fields.
American Express OPEN is the Founding Partner of Fortunes Most Powerful Women in Small Business Initiative. Fortune and American Express OPEN honored the 10 winners at a special reception at the summit.
The Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit is the premiere gathering of its kind, bringing together the countrys top women in business. The 2009 theme was Betting on the Future—ideas about the key challenges—technological, geopolitical, and social—that are reshaping our organizations and our world. The program was built around five pillars: Leadership, Innovation, Finance and the Economy, Global Connections, and The Common Good.

Most of the scientists and entrepreneurs of the world are men, why women lacks the action in building exploring investigating and researching?
There have been women in history who have done extraordinary things, but there are fewer women than men who have.
Up until 1920 women did not have a vote in the United States. It wasn’t until lthe 1960’s that any real awareness of the idea of equality for women took hold. There were still people resisting that concept back then, as there remains today. As a result, many young girls are failed by their parents and/or the schools when it comes to being helped to reach their potential.
If you consider that a certain percentage of girls continue to be failed by parents and schools, and then consider that a remaining percentage has had the encouragement and opportunity to accomplish more, you also need to consider that these girls/women would have likely been born between, say, 1970 and 1981 (assuming a 25-year-old is finished with most education and beginning a career). Girls born before 1970 were either too young to gain much from any changes in attitudes (if there were any in the schools at that time) or else they were old enough to already have been lost in terms of being nurtured in a way that would encourage their reaching their full potential.
So as of today, there is about an eleven-year stretch of time where baby girls stood a decent chance of being nurtured in a way that more reflects equality. Men have had since the beginning of time. Need I say more?
Even today, much is not understood about how girls’ intellectual abilities can be hidden or masked by certain aspects of femininity.
Then too, girls and women must overcome the biological response to them if they’re very feminine, which includes other people (including other women) trying to mother them or control them; but when girls and women play down their femininity, they often have to fend off attacks (verbal or emotional) because they are not feminine. Again, need I say more?
and I will say a little more….
Women who have a lot of ability and a commitment to doing whatever she does with excellence, may have every bit as much ambition as a men do; but because of the realities that someone has to devote a certain amount of time, energy and thought to raising children some women decide to sacrifice their own ambitions because once they have brought children into this world they believe they must do the best possible job of parenting them. Throughout history men have never been the ones to sacrifice much of anything in order to be a parent. They are more often the ones who sacrifice their relationship with their children in favor of their ambitions. Part of ambition is the desire to be able to provide for one’s family (whether that’s women’s or men’s ambition), but there’s a point where it also becomes about personal fulfillment. Women are more often the ones who choose to forego that particular type of fulfillment because they are also usually the ones who care for the children, deal with their education, take care of the house, and manage the finances while also often needing or wanting to work outside the home but settle for a job that demands less of their time.
There has been a connection drawn between some very successful men, particularly presidents of the U.S., and how close a relationship they had with their mothers. So the saying that behind every good man is a good woman may not be far from the truth.
Women don’t lack anything at all. The fact that people like you assume they do just shows that for all the strides women have made there is still a long way to go when it comes to people realizing the damage that history has done to the potential of girls since the beginning of time – and this is in the United States.
Just last week there was a Nightline program on that showed how now that Afghan girls and women won’t be beaten if they show their face women are starting businesses there and getting involved in the government, and little girls are in schools and talking about wanting to become doctors. The U.S. doesn’t have some more enlightened nation to come and share its ideas when it comes to improving understanding of the potential of girls and women. It just has to keep plodding along and figuring it out for itself.
I don’t mean to insult you, but I notice your question isn’t worded in correct grammar and lacks punctuation. If you are a woman this just shows how the schools have failed you and apparently left you believing women can’t accomplish much . If you are a man it shows both that the schools failed you and points out how you lack knowledge. If English is a second language for you then your incorrect use of it is understandable and shows nothing.
The numbers of accomplished women are increasing at a fairly quick speed. I would guess that by the time those baby girls born in 1970 become 50 years old or so (old enough to have had the time to become very accomplished at what they do) the gap between men and women will be drastically reduced; and by the time the baby girls born in 1980 are 50 that gap may be non-existent.
Note to MimiDi: We think alike. I no sooner hit submit on my answer when I saw that many of your thoughts were very similar to mine. Same generation maybe.
Do you see them as CEO’s or entrepreneurs and why?
Under me. LOL
There are many successful women and I assume there will be many more to come.

Looking to be an entrepreneur and want to start something of my own and looking for suggestions ASAP.
With out knowing your knowledge and strength, likes and dislikes, location, nothing much can be proposed.
However, ‘Child Day Care Center’ will be the Best.
All cities have scope.
With all the Best.
I mean really I don’t care if you are very smart innovative even have leadership qualities short men get know where in life. If you take the work place for example other taller men will get more respect and wont even listen the your opinion. When it comes to women they have it a little easier but it is still the same. Short men get nowhere with the ladies unless they happen to have a big penis but that is rare. Tall athletic men are leaders have a bigger penis and will be more respected in every aspect of life. They will get paid more more women will be attracted to them they will have more friends and their ideas will be listened to even if they make no sense. Its a shame really Many short men and women are entrepreneurs and become very successful but in any given social situation like work or anywhere they are screwed.
AND sense of humor!
