Some examples of famous entrepreneurs using determination and initiative?

Posted by admin on May 19th, 2010 and filed under famous entrepreneurs | 1 Comment »

Okay, so for my business homework assignment i have to give examples of some famous people who have made a business and became successful.
For example; Richard Branson has dyslexia but still manages to become extremely successful worldwide.
Stuff like that, is what i need.

Thank you xxx

James Dyson’s idea was rejected by all the big vacuum cleaner companies. Look his story up. Before that he had a factory making the ‘ballbarrow’ (his invention) and his board of directors ousted him so he lost that completely (the patent was in the name of the company). He has been through lots of things like that.

Ron Hickman who invented the Black and Decker Workmate was a,so rejected by everyone (inc. B&D) "…not a market for this…." they said!!! but they came back once he was manufacturing 14,000 of them per year and selling by mail order!

What do you think caused the death of all of PakMan’s fish’s?

Posted by admin on May 5th, 2010 and filed under famous entrepreneurs | 1 Comment »

Yesterday, PakMan, a famous entrepreneur in the village met the village head complaining the death of his fishes.PakMan breeds his fish by channeling water from the river into his fish pond. He’s a very simple pond, with net as barrier and the water inflow and outflow depending on the slow natural water current. Save for some light poles to enlighten the pond at night, no other equipment is used. Being a tidy person, PakMan keeps his pond well-maintained, with not a single algae patch to be seen. Unfortunately, with his fish pond located downstream the river and downstream of everything else before the water flows to the sea, his activity is the one most affected by upstream activities. The village head recalls on how furious PakMan was and that he repeatedly mentioned the paint factory for being responsible.
The paint factory mentioned by PakMan has been operational in the village for three years. The lab test results indicate that the water sample parameters are normal

Possibly a lack of dissolved oxygen if the water in the pond is stagnant, or (as is said in the question) the current is very slow moving.

Also, starvation might be a factor if the fish used the algae as a food source.

Catwoman (film): plagiarism, homage or satire?

Posted by admin on May 1st, 2010 and filed under famous entrepreneurs | 3 Comments »

They correct me if, I will be missed. But, Catwoman (film) does not seem a impudent mixture of the two Batman from Tim Burton, The Crow with Brandon Lee and the two first Spider-Man?
Batman – The idea of the sabotaged products, with collateral effect.

Batman Returns – Rich and famous Entrepreneur who is deceased for the bosses and ressucited for the cats.

The Crow – The protagonist dies and earns to be able as of a crow, after ressucited (or of cats, in the case of Catwoman).

Spider-Man – initials PP (Peter Parker or Patience Philips), the protagonist is reached by a spider (or cats, in Catwoman) and earns to be able proportional to the ones of the animal, also to scale walls.

Spider-Man 2 – The hero (or heroine, in Catwoman) does not know if he chooses enters the love of its life or the combat to the crime, it (or it) discloses its identity to its love and the hero (or heroine) turns prominence, in manchetes of the periodical.

At last… It was a plagiarism or the intention of the scriptwriters and director was another one? They do not say me to be all coincidence, therefore it is not! It was clearly for me that, they had copied the scripts of these five films. What you they find?

P.S.: Sorry for some small grammatical errors. I am Brazilian and my English is not 100% perfect one. But, I learn with the time.

Far as I could tell with what little I tried to watch, the only thing that "film" had to do with Catwoman was the title!

As a fan of the comic and character, I felt insulted.
