HELP ME !!
The problem is obvious, you’re too vague. Even your question here only brings up more questions. If I have to drag the information out of you I’m less inclined to want to help you. Add some details, tell us what your group is about and let’s see what input we can give you.
I want to be own my own Entertainment Company, Restaraunt, and a Childrens Orginization which also creates Computer Software for kids.
My entertainment company will be Film, and eventually branch into television and Radio. I want a seperate company involved in Adult Entertainment but to be affiliated with the main company. I want the Adult Entertainment company to be involved in Production, manufacturing, and distribution of films, Adult Toys and products and also over a few Gentlemen’s Clubs and Adult stores.
Yes. Since you don’t have a college degree, you probably understand better than the schooled that a business idea is less important than business execution. I still recommend an intellectual approach to your businesses though, especially since it sounds like you’ll need significant capitalization.
Once you think you know enough about marketing, accounting, and business management, write a business plan for your own benefit. It will help you solidify the details and identify problems before you open the doors. For instance, you’ll learn why manufacturers don’t normally sell directly to the public, and the target market for adult entertainment and adult toys may have significantly different attributes. Best wishes.
We often think of entrepreneurs as business visionaries, but what did people with pronounced entrepreneurial traits do when there wasn’t a capitalistic economy? Were they leaders of their tribes, explorers, hunters, conquerers? Or are those billionaires that are on the Forbes 400 just lucky – they were born in an era in which it was possible to make lots of money?
Personally, I believe that the entrepreneurs of today (business leaders, founders, visionaires) share virtually the same qualities as the people who created our complex civilization, explored the oceans and the unknown lands.
I think by definition, an entrepreneur is firmly convinced that success is possibly for him or her no matter what the environment is – it might require more effort, but I think all entrepreneurs believe that there are no limits to what one can accomplish, or that those limits are so high that for all practical purposes, they are limitless.
I think we have to remember something about our world today – we know a lot of things. "Exploring the unknown" has become something that is very difficult, simply because we know so much as a civilization.
But in the days when we didn’t know why the sun shone, why objects always fell down, why people died, where the ends of the earth was, almost all of the world was the unknown. Most people still today fear the unknown and change – even when our world is so well-known and understood – imagine how difficult life must have been for an average person in the past – he would not dare to venture beyond his comfort zone of what was known and accepted.
The greatly successful entrepreneurs of today were the people in our ancient civilizations that just like today, embraced uncertainty, change, and sought to master it. When most saw the world beyond what they knew with fear, those special few looked at the world beyond what they could see with anticipation and opportunity and an almost uncontrollable thirst for adventure and curiosity.
Those special people certainly were scared too – but they acted in spite of fear and embraced the unknown for what it was worth – filled with unimaginable opportunity or death and danger. We’ll never know the names of the people that created human civilization and bequeathed to our generation what we have to day.
The qualities that define entrepreneurship transcend time and circumstance. I am left to conclude that entrepreneurs, explorers, adventurers, conquerers have special qualities that allow them to become great leaders. And those billionaires we see on Forbes, they’re who created human civ!
The problem with Karl Marx’s theories is that he assumes that the existence of social classes means that there is a class struggle. There are social classes – there is no doubt about it. But the social classes emerge naturally because people are different in their will and desire and capabilities to achieve success.
Serfs weren’t resentful of their masters – serfs desired protection and security, and they received it in exchange for their freedom.
If there was really a class struggle, then why has society been able to retain a class structure for so long? Just think about this – a system that truly is in line with what the people want will last. A system that is not in line with what the people want won’t last. Social classes have lasted for ten thousand years. Communism died in less than 100. People naturally organize themselves into social classes with accordance to their personal qualities, and those in lower classes do not feel resentment.
Think about who Marx was – he was an upper class, wealthy person who didn’t have to work.
It is only the "noble" person that is trapped in his low-class circumstance that feels resentment and a burning desire to improve. That’s why successful people often come from the lower classes. But MOST people in the lower classes are followers – they are motivated not by their own dreams and passions, but by an external authority.
And if a person is inherently a follower, there is a limit to what he or she can accomplish. A person who isn’t motivated from within and doesn’t hold himself up to a high standard can only accomplish so much.
Marxism is simply a baseless, absurd theory that happened to catch on because it sounds good and seems to make sense. But remember, the most dangerous thing isn’t the lie, it’s the lie that is carefully crafted as the truth.
Karl Marx talked about this a lot; basically, his argument is that the history of the world is that of class struggle. so… a long long time ago, there were tons of classes and they narrowed themselves down into serfs and nobles and clergy and some sort of middle class.
when the americas were discovered, the expansion of markets caused capitalism. (or something of that sort).
read what he says, he does a good job explaining it.
I have got a project on entrepreneurs in the industrial revolution and i need some names please ?
Richard Arkwright is one of the most famous.
Why do so many innovations seem to come from entrepreneurs and small business?
because those people are the ones that made this country what it is, we need more innovaters
I want to become an entrepreneur in the biotech industry in 5-10 from now. I would like to create a company that creates customizable cure solution and treatment cheaply and for everyone. I believe that Genomics/Proteomics/Informatics/Internet will help us achieve that goal.
Now, I’m just a twentysomething guy who has a bachelor degree in Economics and I work a very big internet company. I do love internet and computer high-tech products, but I can’t see myself doing this forever.
I understand that I will probably have to start undergraduate program again. That’s my question:
Which are the best biology/biotech undergraduate program in Canada, US and Europe?
Once I have my undergraduate degree, what should I do next ? PhD? Master? MBA?
Also, do you know any scholarship that can help me in this dream? Do you have any other suggestion of how I can achieve this?
Thanks.
2 ways to do this:
1. learn enough about this so you can intelligently hire guys who know this stuff – you are the $$ guy, they are the wizards.
2. the way you suggest. You’ll need a PhD in genetics, plant breeding (this too is the way to go…it’s what I do), etc. Best schools depend on the route you take.
..

http://www.UniversityOfVictory.com FOR REAL! Vacation&Work Cancun …upcoming seminar in Cancun April 2007. Yes this is a serious promotion. Some people aren’t sure because he’s always joking but that is just the way he is. His program is the most practical and leading edge on the web to get you in business fast (and NOT some affiliate marketing clone bizopp crap thing) something real where you pursue your passion or a hobby. If you want to LOVE WHAT YOU DO, then DO WHAT YOU LOVE. The program has a strong foundation in figuring out where your strengths and weaknesses are, and focus and goal setting. I am a student and I’ve been greatly disappointed with everything I found until University of Victory. This guy is totally for real, even though he is a bit off the wall. Some might call him unprofessional, but he gets the results and has fun. Richard Branson could also be called unprofessional because of his antics but he’s a billionaire. Victory Darwin has made it big 3 times before age 25. The classes are very small so you get lots of one on one time. Trump’s classes are about 100:1 ratio. These are about 10:1. It is more expensive than Trump University but the products just don’t compare at all. Go see trumpuniversity.com for yourself (entrepreneurship mastery program) and see what you get.
